Project phases within a full service design project
Phase one - Discovery
We begin the project with an initial phone conversation during which we obtain and agree upon general details related to your design needs and preferences. Following this important discussion, we will then undertake a comprehensive in-person full consultation to further explore your vision. After gathering all necessary information, a detailed fee proposal will be generated for your review, and once it is mutually agreed upon, we can proceed to draw up a formal contract and move forward to the next stage of the design process.
Phase two - Design development
After a full and thorough brief has been agreed and site survey undertaken, I move onto designing the space to align with your vision and goals. This phase will include meetings to approve the design and further develop the details. Concluding with a full design presentation of concept, layout, materials and finishes and specification of all design elements.
Phase three - Planning
Here we move on to the planning phase where project management begins, a schedule and programme of works will be created. Specialists will be engaged and timelines agreed. Risk assessments and any other safety check completed. Costs finalised and drawn up we procced to the next phase.
Phase four -Implementation
Procurement of all specified items begins, careful co-ordination of trades and deliveries to ensure we are running to budget and timeline, Quality checking finishes and installation, followed by co-ordination of furniture placement and final styling completes this phase.
Phase five - Handover
After styling the space ready for sign off, snagging list if needed will be implemented and actioned until the highest stand is obtained. We can walk through the space to ensure you are happy with the outcome and now it’s time to enjoy your new space. You will be given a hand over document to help you understand how to best maintain your spaces.
If possible, a photoshoot if aggreged by client will conclude the project.
Fee proposal estimate for full service design
My full service design is calculated following a full consultation with the total investment varying based on project scope and complexity. As a guide on price of my services I have included an estimate of my time.

kitchens and bathrooms: due to the technical nature, these rooms typically require 80–120 hours.
This starting price reflects a typical base cost for design consultation, development, procurement, and styling. The final price may increase based on factors like bespoke furniture, high-end materials, or additional services.
This estimate covers all phases from initial consultation to final styling, excluding the cost of furnishings and materials. After our initial consultation, you'll receive a tailored proposal outlining the anticipated hours and associated costs.
Please note these are estimates of my time not of project duration.
