Design process

After your initial enquiry, we arrange a short discovery call to discuss your space, timeline and what support you’re looking for. This helps us establish whether we’re the right fit and how I can best help you.

Most projects begin with an in home design consultation. During this session we walk through your space together, looking at layout, light, colour, materials and how you want your home to feel. You will receive initial design direction and we’ll discuss scope, budget and next steps.

Following the consultation, a written summary and tailored design proposal is provided if you’d like to move forward into full design.

Once commissioned and contracts signed, I develop a clear design concept for your space. This includes overall direction, colour palette, key materials, layout suggestions and the foundation of the scheme. We refine the concept together in line with contact terms, before moving forward.

With the concept approved, I develop the full scheme in detail. This includes furniture, lighting, finishes, spatial planning and styling elements, all carefully considered to create a cohesive and functional interior. A complete design presentation and specification is provided.

Depending on the level of service agreed, I can support with sourcing, ordering, installation guidance and final styling. This stage ensures the design comes together seamlessly and feels resolved, layered and ready to live in.

The final stage is always about ensuring everything feels considered and complete. I remain available for final adjustments and guidance so that your space feels calm, cohesive and finished.
